The Chase Bays Tucked Radiator for Mazda RX7 FD3S is designed for those wanting to open up space in their crowded or engine swapped engine bays, get a better look aesthetically, and improve cooling power. It offers more fluid capacity than most aftermarket rads, more direct airflow, and dual pass design. We shorten 8″ of space but increase the width and thickness to compensate. This radiator has been rigorously track/drift tested for nearly a decade and is on countless show winning engine bays.
Chase Bays has designed this all aluminum radiator to fill every bit of space under the core support while still being able to run 16″ electric fan. Requires some light cutting of front core support. They’ve integrated features no other competitor is offering. From fan sizing to modularity.
This radiator will require the use of custom hoses as the factory hose setup will not work. Additionally, this radiator sits lower than the original stock orientation. Due to this a new fill point is necessary. Chase Bays offers multiple hoses, clamps, and filler necks which will allow you to meet your engine bay needs as desired.
Optional Fan: Chase Bays 16 Ultra HD Fan rated at 2,200 CFM. It’s important that the fan is on its own relay w/ proper sized wiring & fill point is the highest point in the system. Purchasing a Dual Fan Relay Harness w/ 180 degree F thermoswitch will simplify the wiring. Fans should be mounted using proper hardware, mounting any fans to this radiator using zip ties will immediately void the warranty.
Please Note: This radiator requires some light front core support cutting. Requires Chase Bays Raised Modular Filler Neck.
